Invictus

In the past I’ve taken liberties, changing verses, changing lines. Molding this poem into my creed of divine justice and eternal light. Now these changes are unseen, but always present before my eyes. Invictus’ message still is clear: stand your ground and face your fears, never bow before the night. Though the time now is near, and we must gently part our ways, this is not our last goodbye; you will have the final say. There is so much yet left to do, in this journey we call life, I hope to meet you soon, between friends there is no goodbye.
