The Scream

Some scenes are so appalling even silence seems to scream. Today I saw a child struggling to survive out on the street. When the red light said stop she would start {to clean}. Wiping window shields of vehicles all held in higher esteem. They were all insured, and repaired in times of need. While she had been forsaken to a life devoid of dreams. Abandoned by her family and a state still run by schemes. Abandoned in a country of disparities so extreme. Only when the green light said go, did she stop {to clean}. A life lived in reverse, a dehumanizing scene.
